Hi all, you have probably heard this a million times, I recently started my claim to pip, DWP recieved my form along with supporting evidence on 06/07, I understand it's a long process, how long usually do DWP take to give you your appointment for an assessment? Thank you in advance, and can I say this forum is a wealth of advice and help, cheers Dan.

It varies considerably depending on area. Some wait a couple of months for an assessment and some wait longer. There's really no timescales at this stage.

Hi @Dandy1923. You have done such a great job in reaching out to us today. Unfortunately, I am not sure about the answer to your question - other than it varies for everyone.
Hopefully, our more experienced community members in this area can respond to you soon to guide you based on how long it has taken for them. Though, again, please note this might vary for you. I mainly wanted to respond to let you know we hear you.
You have mentioned, in your title, that you are currently feeling anxious. Would anything help to make your anxiety more manageable for you at the moment / does anything usually help when you are feeling anxious?
Please do not hesitate to let us know if there is anything we can do to help. We are all here for you and listening to you
