I am new to this site. i hope you are all coping today. I am having trouble filling in the work capability form. How much do you write on what is your illness and how does it affect you. I could go in to my story and on forever about how it affects me my Dad says just write a couple of lines what do i do, i always look for the hard way,

You do not need to write you life story. You need to keep it relevant to how your conditions affect you. I think a couple of lines isn’t enough. You should also include a couple of real world examples of exactly what happened the last time you attempted each activity that applies to you. Adding detailed information such as where you were, what exactly happened, did anyone see it and what the consequences were. There’s a guide here that may also help. If your form is the UC50 form it’s identical to the one here https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/benefits/sick-or-disabled-people-and-carers/employment-and-support-allowance/help-with-your-esa-claim/fill-in-form-esa/0

Hello @Thor
Welcome to the community!Hope you are well today?
Filling out the forms can be stressful. I see Poppy has advised and linked to a great resource. I would also encourage you to do a little at a time and take breaks. I know it's easier said than done not to worry, but hopefully it would help with that.0
