Research Exploring the Dating Experiences of Women with a Visible Disability.

This research study invites women aged 18 years and older who have a visible disability to discuss their experiences of dating. The study will involve a one to one interview with the lead researcher (Antonia).
You are invited to take part if you meet the following criteria:
• You have a physical impairment that is visible to others, e.g., a physical difference or use a wheelchair/mobility aid.
• You are 18 years or older and identify as a woman.
• You have felt dissatisfied with some or all of your experiences with dating.
• You do not have a diagnosed cognitive impairment or learning disability.
Antonia Burke Hyman, a Trainee Clinical Psychologist at Coventry University is leading this research as part of her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. The research was granted ethical approval by Coventry University’s Research Ethics Committee: P144032
