Pip removed Mobility component

So, I've just had my PIP assessment decision and they've removed standard mobility. They should not have done. I am awaiting the paper decision in the post, they told me over the phone because I insisted. I feel so awful about it. I know I have to wait for paper work and then ask for mandatory reconsideration. Should I do it in writing and then speak to decision maker after? I can't remember what I read on this before and my head is too mashed to search for it. I can't cope mentally with this but I have to fight it as it's not conceivable that they could make the decision that they have. Please could somebody explain the best way to approach this now? The dwp guy i spoke to on the phone did appear to be pushing me to lodge the mandatory reconsideration over the phone with him there and then??

You should put the request in writing stating where and why you think you should have scored those points and not ring to request it.

Don't expect to speak to a decision maker at this point because they very rarely ring for the MR. The most likely outcome will be the decision remains the same. If this happens you can proceed to Tribunal.

Thank you for your reply. I will await decision in writing and reply. Not sure i can cope with tribunal. I don't believe the decision maker could have even read the assessment or additional evidence.
