Hello Everyone,

So today, I struggled to get to the consultation centre. When i got there the office was closed and a message outside cited a number that one can telephone. I have to now wait another 2 weeks to have the consultation, now by telephone!

That is unacceptable if you didn't get any notice of it being closed even before your appointment on the day, you can complain but at least this time it's by way of telephone.

Just to add to bg844 reply.
I agree that it is unacceptable for you to go for a face to face assessment then to find that the assessment venue is closed. If you did not have any warning of this then you have grounds to make a written complaint to the Assessment agency which can either be CAPITA or IAS.
To make a complaint about PIP Assessments for CAPITA https://www.capita-pip.co.uk/en/contact-us#Complaint
To make a complaint about PIP Assessments for IAS https://www.mypipassessment.co.uk/feedback/ and more information on there Complaints process https://www.mypipassessment.co.uk/feedback/#unhappy-about-your-experience-1552
If you can put the complaint in writting and get proof of postage free from post office (or send signed for if you can afford it)
    Hope that helps
