Text to say awarded PIP, is it like to be backdated?

Hi All,
I am a newbie to this forum.
I just received a text this morning at 8am informing me that I have been awarded PIP.
"We have awarded you PIP. We have sent you a decision letter explaining the award. Please allow 2 weeks to receive this. You only need to contact us if your circumstances change."
I have no idea how much to expect to receive.
I first contacted DWP in Feb to request the application form, so it has taken quite a few months to finalise the decision.
Anyone know how far back my PIP is likely to be backdated?
I have been diagnosed with agoraphobia, and have been house bound since March 2020.
Looking forward to hearing from members on this group 😊

It will be from the date you rang to start your claim. Money owed will be in your bank 3-5 working days after payment was sent.If you want to know what you've been awarded and when to expect payment you can ring PIP on Monday to ask and they will tell you. When you receive your decision letter it will give details on when yo expect your first 4 weekly payment.0
