I stupidly put my signature next to the word signature instead of in the box itself on ESA50

I realised what I did but then did not want to add two signatures. Is this okay?

Just sign in the box, that way you’ve covered yourself if there’s an issue.0

The problem is that I have already sealed the envelope with everything in it. My signature is still there, just not in the box.0

Try steaming the envelope open, then reseal/use sellotape.

It is just going to stress me out and play on my mind if I have two signatures on it (i.e. current on next to the word and then add another in the box). So I am going to just chance it. I think it should be okay. It is still my signature.
I also actually added it digitally. Because I filled the form on the computer I also added the signature digitally.
Should be okay. Am I over thinking it?0 -
I think to be on the safe side it’s much better to open the envelope and add your signature to the box. It won’t hurt having 2 signatures rather than 1 that’s not correct.0

Hi @hughie1, ideally you'd add one to the box, you could always scribble out the other if you don't want two?hughie1 said:It is just going to stress me out and play on my mind if I have two signatures on it (i.e. current on next to the word and then add another in the box). Try not to worry too much whatever you choose to do, I've sent one off before and not even signed it at all and they've just sent it back asking for the signature.0
