What exactly are work related activities?

Is there an official definition.

I can only think of improving maths/writing skills. Writing CVs. Doing some training. Interview skills. Most of these aren't relevant or they're unlikely to get me ready for work. Work that I'm not going to find/travel to/be able to do or obtain.

The job centre have in the past given me "activities" but now it's recognized that they aren't relevant to me.  They've not suggested anything else and don't ask "what work related activities have you been doing?"

It will depend on your claimant commitments and every claimant is different.

Aren’t you already self employed so you have some earnings? This is likely why they don’t ask you what you’re doing.

Thank you Poppy, you are right. I do have some self employed earnings but they have dwindled to next to nothing, which is why I'm having a reassessment in the hope that I'll qualify for LCWRA.  I guess it's not as cut and dried as that. My thinking was along the lines of "tell me what work related activities you mean and I'll tell you why I can't do them.

For LCWRA then it’s all about the descriptors and whether any of them apply to you. Only one is needed. You can see them here https://www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/universal-credit-uc/uc-faq/limited-capability-for-work-related-activity I’m assuming you must have looked at those before reporting any changes. (Ideally you should have)
