in Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)
Does anyone know if the court ruling in January 2023 where the claimants won SDP & EDP will mean both (not just SDP) will be considered in transitional payments in future migration  from ESA to UC or is this still ongoing and not yet decided. I’ve tried to find a discussion on this and can only find one back in April 2023. Case below for reference

    There's been no further updates on this at all as far as i'm aware.

    Indeed, there is information regarding this now BUT for those that are claiming UC due to a change of circumstances and not managed migration, the EDP Transitional Protection is likely not to be paid at the moment.

    I had to go to my local mp ..because I sign a contract with the dwp as I was one of 350 who was leigh day as our barristers. And the dwp barristers. So we were was told they start paying and which they haven't paid anyone as this government are complete liars .I have counted up how much to date I should be paid back is over 8k.the last since we had the ruling I had some many confrontation with the dwp and they told me a them they would look into it..bearing in mind a sign contract with my barristers leigh day .they paid no on going paymenys which was promised till they faced it out like the sdp.wen I spoke to my mp she didn.t even know there was a court case existed and I explain.so she wrote to them all of a sudden the investigation and they as always not paying thst transitional payment or payed me back the money thst I sign which is a legal document. See scope u not fighting wat we fighting as now on top ..this government will be causing genocide to disable people and I told my solicitor I want this government to be charged with murdering me and others .genocide .so beside them not paying I think the cuts are a way of killing us disable people and It will be done legally if no disable groups don.t campaign and cause a uproar as it be in my mind they are legally going to make sure us disable to suffer.but I have told my son who cares for me to pursue it..he will also suffer as he get carers allowance and if the government get their way they going to take away the payment to care for me..there also alot young carers children that are carers they also going suffer.so can.t you see scope about the children carers who also don.t get paid to suffer as they will cut off if like me wen my sons where young carers wen I got my money for my disability I would give them money out of thst because they never wanted it but I said it was treat to go to cinema or bowling a treat so how these children going to suffer as they are now..the unseen carers children..so its going to be suffering for them..this government lied to this country and look they doing the exact opposite to wat they promis us ..sorry had to get it off my chest I terrified wats going to happen alot people going to be affected in a whole family situation and I need to get it out there wat truly going to happen..I am scared
