I received a text this Tuesday to say I've been awarded PIP, what happens now? Any advice is greatly appreciated, I'm new to the group and my name is Gemma, nice to meet you all

Hi Gemma, I remember I got text on Tuesday and got my money on Friday, so hopefully you will get it today or Monday maybe:-) And then I was waititng around 2-3 weeks for decision letter. I am very happy for you to get PIP, it does make a difference.

Yes I'm hoping it will make a difference too, I've checked today and nothing so hopefully it will go in tomorrow (friday), if not then Monday

Once payment is made it takes 3-5 working days to go into your bank. You can ring PIP to ask what you've been awarded and when to expect any money owed into your bank and they will tell you.
