Will it help provide a bigger picture to the appeal panel about my circumstances generally. I get that having LCWRA doesn't make anything happen or guarantee anything else.

It won't hurt to tell them. Although they are different benefits, there is some overlap with some descriptors being similar.

As poppy mentions it doesn't hurt to mention you receive it and perhaps why since many of the factors have overlap!
