Pip assessment

Hi all and good morning,
Just wanted to say I had my paper assessment telephone last week Friday the 18th and today this morning I have been awarded pip was sent a text this morning early I am still in shocked and kept thinking am I dreaming this morning but I'm so grateful and pleased with myself as I know I pushed myself to get all the evidence I could and to let them completely have everything was affecting me and also my family because of what I was going through and still am to anyone going through pip assessments please make sure you have as much information as possible and until then exactly how it affects you as much as possible.. thank you to anyone and everyone who gave me advice and very grateful

That’s really great news! I know you were refused the last time! At least now you can relax a little.

If you want to know what you’ve been awarded and when to expect the money they owe you then you can ring PIP to ask.

Aww well done I’m so happy for you, it’s such a relief for you.
I had messaged in another thread to you I thought this was your second time trying for pip so it’s amazing news.

@Lou67 thank you so much and yes you're right my second time applying and boy was this different this time I was so fully prepared with so many documents of how it affected me on audio evidence I needed my whole dining table was full of documents lol you couldn't see a gap in my dining table with the amount of documents and evidence I had well prepared the telephone assessment  even though I was anxious and nervous like we all are .. sadly I won't be able to treat myself I have to put it towards dental treatment if I can't get it on the NHS as my front tooth fell out during the weekend while I was at my brothers house the most awful sinking feeling in my stomach it's not like it's a side tooth or back to but the front I was into such a panic mode that my pain went through the roof.. have an appointment soon at the dentist hopefully they can fix it till I can put the money toward proper  treatment.. fingers cross they can just fix it with special stuff for now fingers crossed 🤞🙏🥰

Oh it’s great you got it this time around as I know only to well how stressful it is.
Aww such a shame about your tooth can only imagine how your feeling about it.
It will depend if your on a benefit that qualifies you for dental treatment on the NHS, but I’m sure they will be able to sort your tooth out for you.
