Hi all, I'm looking for some help with what to do regarding giving PIP my bank details. When I applied, I didn't have a bank account, and was getting my UC through the payment exception service. I've since opened a bank, and I had my assessment today. The woman seemed lovely and we were on the phone for 2 hours 20 mins! However, if I am so lucky to be awarded anything, I'd like the back pay to go into my bank. Does anyone know how I would go about giving them my new details to make sure they have them in time? Thank you.

Hello @rj7
Welcome to the community! Are you keeping well?
As woodbine has said, give them a ring to advise your bank details. I'm glad you got through your assessment ok! Keeping everything crossed for you0 -
To add to the advice given above, you may require an appointment at the Job Centre to verify these new details. You will be contacted about this shortly after making that change.0

I've known any need to attend your local job centre to verify bank details for a PIP claim.
