Hi does anyone know if my gp doctor is allowed to refer me to an NHS dentist ?

I have only been to Dentist's that are NHS and Referred by my GP,,, Because I am totally 💯 Phobic about being in the hands of a dentist with no special training for Prising me down from the ceiling!!0
