Hi folks im a 40 year male
I have aspergers syndrome and currently looking for employment.

    What kind of jobs are you interested in? Sometimes it's good to look at your interests and hobbies to see if you can use the knowledge and skills from them in employment.

    My background is in antiques but nothing going in my local area right now

    I'm sorry to hear things aren't going great. Do you have any family or friends around you that can help?

    With your background in antiques you must have some good knowledge of history. Are there any local museums or anything where you might be able to apply your knowledge?

    Hi @dresser83 - & welcome to the community from me also. Ah, those were the days when we dealt in antiques; the highlight was a very rare Clarice Cliff applique windmill plaque which we put into auction, the proceeds of which helped very much when we bought our next home!

    Also autistic here! Hello @dresser83. How are you finding looking for employment? Personally, I found the recent 9 month job hunt the hardest part. However, now I am in a job I love and feel comfortable in, I wouldn't change it for the world  :)

    How come it took so long to find employment?

    Its easy enough for me to find work when i need it
