Good evening,
I am moving out of temporary accommodation and into my own flat (Social Housing), so will be moving from HB to UC.
Will this trigger a change of circumstances advance please?
Thank you in advance.

Good evening @ebond1602 - if I'm understanding you correctly, then, as I think you're already claiming UC, a change of address is something that you'd need to report on your journal under 'change of circumstances.'Moving out of temporary accomodation should mean you could then get help with your housing costs through UC.I hope you'll be enjoying your own home soon.

Good morning,
I am in receipt of UC and know that they will pay my rent through the housing element.
I am trying ascertain whether or not it will trigger a change of circumstances advance as I am going to need assistance with household items etc.
I look forward to hearing your advice.
Thank you in advance. -

If you need help for White Goods, your local council should have a scheme that will help you. Additionally, you may also be eligible for the Household Support Fund, have a look at your local authorities website for further info.
