When viewing the site on a mobile phone it doesn’t show the date of posts which means, as I recently found out, I was talking on a thread two years old.

Would be good if the date of posts showed on mobile devices as it’s impossible to know how old a thread is

Hi @Ray212, I passed this on to the team today.

On mobile devices the date should be displayed in the top right of the post. Anything from last year and before should display the full year rather than the day of the month. For example, May 2022 rather than May 17 or the time of posting.

Let me know if you're not able to see this and I'll see if there's anything more we can do.

I use an iphone too and no date shows on mine when using this. Though, mostly will use my desktop when possible. I'm fairly certain that a date only shows if using a android device.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

Thanks, @Ray212 and @poppy123456 I will pass that on. I know it might be a bit difficult, but as a quick solution I've been told that if you're able to zoom out or switch the site back to desktop mode temporarily that should show the date of the post.

I'll show your picture to the rest of the team and one of us will get back to you if there are any more solutions to try :) Thanks for bringing it to our attention.

Strangely when choosing desktop mode it still stays as it does in the screenshot I sent.

It's likely different mobile browsers showing up differently. I believe most of the team have android phones and so likely use Chrome, whereas I imagine with an iPhone you're using Safari. It's a bit of a blind spot for us so thank you for bringing it to our attention!
