I am too tired to fight what coming with Hunts budget, nasty thoughts are starting to occur. Its pointless trying to live ill in a country that hates ill people. I am currently trying to get referred for an Autism test but it seems pointless if hunt brings in these new changes.. Maybe it is time to call time..

Please try not to worry about things that have not yet happened. Media tend to exaggerate everything. just live your life the best you can without getting dragged down by live TV and media etc.1

I know how you feel, I found this forum because I felt so scared and alone about what was happening with these proposed reforms.. I have serious mental illness which stems from traumatic events when I was a child, all my life I've been in/out of the NHS's mental health system, struggling to cope on a daily basis with the thoughts I have and how they effect me on a daily basis, but now the government seem to suddenly be telling me (and others in my situation) ''Oh pull yourself together, time to go get a job!''. It's not that simple, it really is horrendous, but like other people have said, I'm trying to stay positive and hope that it somehow works out okay in the end for myself and other sick/disabled people in my position.1

Hey @ACC , welcome to the community.
As others have said, please please try not to worry about Hunts announcements, nothing is set in stone. We're all here to support each other too, so you're never alone in any of this. Do you have someone there to help you with all of this?
As far as the autism diagnosis, I highly recommend 'Right to Choose' it really sped things up for my assessments. A lot of people I know have used Psychiatry UK.1 -
Thank you for your comments, Just after so long of illness and finally getting onto ESA which helped stabilised my mood, Hunt is looking to f me over and i am done if this happens i think..
The whole autism referral is confusing and i have no idea whats going on with it.. My friends say i have a lot of signs hence why i saw my GP but he said it can take years, i know about right to chose but have no idea how it works or how to access it or who is a good person/company to access. Its all too overwhelming for me..0
