About your PIP review. The health professional has sent us their report.
We will make a decision on your PIP, but it may take 6 weeks before you hear from us.
You will continue to get PIP while your award is being reviewed.
You only need to contact us if your circumstances change.

Could anybody help with this please it's been 10 days since I already receive mobility part for my anxiety an depression I broken my back so had to put another claim in but have no clue0
-
Hi @everill84 - & welcome to the community. This is just a standard text informing you that the health professional's assessment report has been returned to the DWP, & you will hear when a decision has been made. This can actually take anything from 2 -12 weeks, but your current claim will continue in the meanwhile.

Hi there @everill84 and welcome to the community from me too. How're you today?
I can see you've already got some great advice, but I just wanted to say hi.1 -
I'm very anxious an in pain with my back I broken it an had a L3L4L5 spinal infusion0
-
So hoping there's some good news with pip it's been a long 10 days0
-
So hi from myself to all 😘0
-
Really sorry to hear that @everill84, I hope your recovery is swift! We'll all be keeping our fingers crossed for a good outcome with your PIP. Make sure you keep us updated.0
-
I will keep updates my claim started on the 9th of August when I called about my back so its about 13-14 weeks so far0
-
Iv received my report today I got 10 points on the daily an 22 points on the mobility I still haven't heard anything since my txt about recieving the report on the 17th Nov is this normal?tia0
-
I already receive standard mobility so how does this work with the updates?0
-
Hi there @everill84 congratulations on the result! Unfortunately it's quite normal not to hear anything from the DWP for long periods of time. Your original text from the DWP said;
"We will make a decision on your PIP, but it may take 6 weeks before you hear from us."
so you just need to hold tight for the official update.1 -
Dec 5th an still not heard a thing0
-
It took 3 weeks to get my decision after they received the report, so it may take a bit of time unfortunately0
-
How can you tell from the report if your successful or not?0
-
Decision makers usually go with the report, but that isn't guaranteed.1

You can use the PIP self test to transfer the dots from the report into the test. At the end it will add up any points that maybe recommended. https://www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/personal-independence-payment-pip/pip-self-test0 -
Just feels like it's taking forever that's all thankyou for all the comments it's much appreciated0
-
Decision timescales are up to 12 weeks once the report was returned. Yes, it’s rather an anxious wait for most people. Try to focus on something else while you wait, difficult I know.0

It did say 6 weeks On the msg but we coming into week 4 nearly an still nothing just anxious that's all0
