    Hi @everill84 - & welcome to the community. This is just a standard text informing you that the health professional's assessment report has been returned to the DWP, & you will hear when a decision has been made. This can actually take anything from 2 -12 weeks, but your current claim will continue in the meanwhile.

    Hi there @everill84 congratulations on the result! Unfortunately it's quite normal not to hear anything from the DWP for long periods of time.  Your original text from the DWP said;
     "We will make a decision on your PIP, but it may take 6 weeks before you hear from us."

    so you just need to hold tight for the official update.

    It took 3 weeks to get my decision after they received the report, so it may take a bit of time unfortunately :/

    How can you tell from the report if your successful or not?

    Decision makers usually go with the report, but that isn't guaranteed.

    There will be descriptors and activities in the report. Next to those there will be either a dot or tick next to the descriptor they recommend. Box would be zero points

    You can use the PIP self test to transfer the dots from the report into the test. At the end it will add up any points that maybe recommended. https://www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/personal-independence-payment-pip/pip-self-test

    Decision timescales are up to 12 weeks once the report was returned. Yes, it’s rather an anxious wait for most people. Try to focus on something else while you wait, difficult I know.
