Pip waiting

Hi All.
Hoping if any of you lovely people can help.
I posted off my Pip renewal form in March and they texted me in August to tell me they had the form and they will be contacting me very soon. I have not heard from them since and it is now late November. I have looked on my phone and no phone number comes up relating to them. Does anyone know how long it takes for an assessment please. I am in the south west if that helps. Thank you
Kind regards

There are very long delays for a lot of people, some members have waited a year before having a decision after returning their review form.

Your current award will continue until a decision is made on your review. Frustrating I know but there’s nothing more you can do but wait.

If an assessment is needed (most have them) you will be contacted.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

My OH sent her review back in Oct '22 she finally had her assessment in late Sept '23 and a decision Oct '23 so 12 months which doesn't seem that unusual at the moment, they seem to be giving priority to new claims, but as poppy says your current award will remain in payment.
