I received a text saying I have been awarded pip , when will the money come through

Hi, I have just switched to pip after being on DLA and I had to switch because i turned 16, i got text saying I have been awarded it but no money has entered my bank, I am not getting an backdate as I still was recieving my DLA during my claim, any idea when my first payment will be

Your first payment will be about 7 weeks after the decision was made. The decision letter will tell you when to expect your first payment.

In the meantime you will receive one final DLA payment.
