I'm waiting too . It will be 1 year in Jan since I applied so will see if I get a date soon.

I finally have a date for the tribunal....2nd February! 7 days Less of a year since I submitted my appeal request.

I had my hearing today, in person. I was an emotional mess but the judge, disability expert and doctor were very patient and I got through it. Well I won!! DWP offered me standard daily living, but I was awarded enhanced 😁

I’ve got mine in two weeks, so many times I’ve gone to cancel as nerves anxiety getting to me 🥲 originally applied in February 2023 so a years wait from applying

Amazing news there @tbird, I'm so happy for you! It's always worth going through with the tribunal, the DWP often try and offer you a lower award.

@karen19862 and @Rainbow116 the waiting really is the worst part, but it's worth it in the end. I'm keeping everything crossed for you both.

I sent a letter with everything I disagree with and got it back so in a letter from courts I can use it for reference so I'm prepared

Thank you Albus I've got new issues now with spinal stenosis which I had an operation for in 2014 but I forgot to mention this on my claim. It is however on my medical notes. So I will wait to see what happens with tribunal before I make any changes.

I was so anxious that I got lost on buses and arrived 10 minutes late for the hearing. The Decision Notice had been typed up and was handed to me. Won on the evidence alone as it should have been at the start!

DWP knows enough claimants can't appeal and they win that way.
