How soon after PIP review decision can I use the automatic amount teller?

Hi all,
I'm sorry for my confusing title but I couldn’t think how to phrase it 😅
I had my PIP review last month, and today at just gone 8am, I received a text saying the review is complete and I’ll get a letter soon, and I’m not to ring and ask the decision as they won’t be able to tell me.
When you ring the PIP number, after going through some options but before you speak to someone, you get told by an automatic voice how much your next PIP payment is and when it’ll be paid.
I was wondering if anyone knows when that automatic number gets updated, please? If I rang now would it already be the correct amount? I normally get the higher rate for both elements, so there’d be no back pay coming, and I’m not due to be paid until later this month, so while I’m waiting for the letter to arrive, I was wondering how soon I could use the automatic thing to see what their decision was? (For example, if I rang, and it said my usual amount, would that mean it’s not been updated or that I’m still being given the same amount and the review hasn’t changed that?)
Thank you, and sorry once again for the confusing title 🥹

Hiya @FluffyCatMeow. I'm afraid I dont know the answer to that. But, your account may not even be updated until you receive the letter, so I'd personally try and just wait for that letter to drop through your letterbox. Hopefully it wont be too much longer!
(But I expect any changes are updated at midnight or 9am?)1 -
You shouldn't rely on the automated payment line because it has been known to give incorrect information. If you can ring to ask them what the decision is then they will tell you, even though the text advises you not to ring them, it doesn't mean you can't.

@poppy123456 thank you for the advice to ring - I’ve been awarded enhanced for both until 2026, so that is a huge weight off my mind2
