Pip - how long does it take after the phone call?

Good morning all I was just wondering if anyone can advise me on as to how long it takes from having the phone call

Hi @TomJoeMac - & welcome to the community. It can take anywhere from 2-12 weeks to receive your decision letter following a phone assessment. Hope that answers your query.

Thank you it has taken me 2 years to finally get the decision I need and has been really stressful would it be paid over the Xmas period or in the new year thanks0

Now you're asking how long it takes after finally getting the decision.Can you please confirm if a decision's been made to award you PIP? and was the decision made by the Tribunal or DWP? when was the decision made please?0

It can take up to 8 weeks for them to pay what is owed and to put your award into payment. With Christmas being the end of the week, it's cutting it rather fine now to receive money that's owed but yes, it's still possible.

Ok thank you for your help in this it’s a trying time for everyone and I’ve been waiting so long for this decision to come my way I’ll have to wait till the new year I wish everyone a very merry Christmas and a happy new year stay safe everyone0
