Hi
Ive recently supported my son to apply for UC and was advised to submit a fit note due to his Learning disabilities and other needs, this was completed 14th August. Tuesday 19th December he had a F2F assessment, four days later he received notification on his journal he had been awarded LCWRA.
Please could anyone confirm when he is likely to receive his first payment. He gets his UC on the 4th of each month and I think his assessment period is the 27th to the 28th.
Thank you

Hi @SueL66 - & welcome to the community. Providing his fit notes have been continuous since 14 Aug, there's a 3 full months waiting period, then as the LCWRA element is paid in arrears this will be due for his assessment period 28 Nov - 27 Dec which will therefore be paid on 4 Jan 2024
