edited December 2023 in PIP, DLA, ADP and AA
Hi I first received pip 2020 I had to send off the renewal earlie this year I had the text to say received on the 20th January  then normal text to say it’s still waiting to be looked at etc I had a letter from capita to say had a phone assessment I had that 12th December. Today 29th December had a text at 8.15am  to say
your pip review is complete you should receive your decision  letter in 2 weeks etc ,!
Now the nerves anxiety etc have kicked in more I only had 107.60 a month  but my conditions are a lot worse now I’m just scared they will stop my pip all together now or remain the same  my call lasted  52 minutes and now to wait for a letter over the Christmas period

That's a standard text sent to those waiting for review decisions and is no indication of what the decision will be.

Although the text advises you not to ring them, you can do this anytime and ask what the decision is and they will be able to tell you.

    Thankyou poppy
it’s such a long anxious process  I’m not the best on a phone call due to lung disease and running out of breath easily. I tried to see if an automated payment line was available I typed in dob etc when prompted but was put on hold for 40 minutes then I gave up lol ….I’m guessing it would be best to wait a few days  befor calling as only had the text today

The automated payment line is the usual helpline number and choose option 6. However, it's not the most reliable and has been known to give incorrect information.

I’m currently on hold to them at the moment. It’s gave me a date which is 1 week befor my normal payment date and instead of £107.60 says £556.40  so not sure  what is what tbh hopefully some one answers soon as been on hold almost a hour now

I have received a text message from capita for a reminder for the pip assessment on 09/01, the time has changed from 11am to 11:45, also I didn't copy the report I sent to DWP to start my claim on 03/11 will this make any difference
    Thanks
