Today I have has some brilliant news! In May last year I had my pip stopped I appealed and in August I got a final decision letter saying I was no longer entitled to pip. I had a phone call this morning from the dwp saying they were reviewing their decision and after I had answered a few questions I was told that they had decided to give me pip again until 2029.

I was really surprised when they phoned me. I was expecting to have to go tribunal. I have just had a very stressful couple of months wondering where the money was going to come from to pay all the bills because the council stopped my housing benefit and sent me council tax bill for 400 pounds and the hmrc had also decided it would be a clever idea to stop my tax credits without telling me that I needed to transfer to universal credit. Thankfully the council have wiped the council tax bill and have backdated my housing benefit. A nice start to the new year!0
