    We are off to walk the dog in the cold now :)

    It's been below 0 here for 6 days including today, tomorrow will be above 0.

    I sort of wanted one more day so we'd get a cold weather payment.

    I shouldn't complain, I guess I am fortunate as I like the cold and don't struggle.

    Can't believe we're now heading into a storm after all that cold. And round by me, the daffodils are already coming out. I think they're going to regret coming up so soon.

    We've got snowdrops and daffodils popping up in our garden and my tub full of carnivorous plants are only just deciding it's hibernation time.  The weather is being very silly indeed.

    Im going to see my mum then later on my granddaughter is coming to stay. She said she wants a sleepover with me. 😊

    Enjoy your walk and pity about the CWP. It’s changed up here we have to receive £55 every year regardless of the temperature which I think is much fairer, as it’s usually hard to get 7 days at - degrees.

    Yes Sandy she’s been wanting to come down she’s been asking all week but has the nursery. 
    So I told them to bring her once I’m back from my mums.
    I bought her some treats out Home Bargains to keep her amused lol

    Shopping been and put away  hurts my back getting it off them out the crates, morrisons still deliver in bags which is better, but their site was playing up yesterday, so went with sainsburys.
    Can relax now nice hot coffee

    When my Dad left his job of 36 years and was looking for a nice simple job one he looked at was a supermarket delivery driver. He was offered the job but didn't take it because he didn't like the rules. He said the drivers are strictly not allowed to go into peoples houses etc. and he would have ended up going to an elderly or disabled customer and helping them unload their shopping and getting the sack.
