Morning everyone, hope you're all doing okay this weekend. We have someone over to fix a small leak in our roof today finally!1
-
Good morning all I hope yous have a lovely day. Dry and bright here for a wee change.
@66Mustang
Enjoy your dog walk.
@Beaver79
I hope the medication you got helps ease any pain you have in your eye.
@Ada
I hope you also managed to get some sleep.
I think I’ve maybe overdone things since my surgery, then an infection on top.
I need to remember it was a big operation. My staples aren’t due out till Tuesday so I’m going to take it easy over the weekend.
@Sandy_123
I hope your ok, if you feel bad just phone out off hours.
@Teigr

Morning glad that's the leak getting sorted, enjoy your day.1 -
I'll try, it doesn't really feel like the weekend to me because I was off Thursday and Friday ^^. You guys have me all weekend instead1
-
I got a lot of house cleaning done and organised the garden for the upcoming planting season! I also got some much needed rest done too though.1
-
Have a good time @Ada! I didn't see your second post, I must have been writing my previous post at the time
@Teigr oooh, that is quite the mist/fog it sounds like. I've always found fog quite nice, during the day only, and not when driving. At night it's so eerie and when driving fog makes me anxious. I'm always worried someone won't have their rear fog lights on and I might not see them until it's too late.1 -
We just got back from our dog walk and also we took a trip to the farm shop and I purchased some nice treats...
@Jimm_Scope I don't like to lecture but driving is my passion area ... the golden rule is that you should always drive only so fast that you are able to completely stop in the distance you can see - that includes fog, so if you are on a 60mph speed limit road and you can only see 10 yards in front of you that may mean it's appropriate to drive at 25mph.
The bonus is if you follow that rule your anxiety should be eliminated because the possibility of not being able to stop in time is eliminated.3 -
Tasty treats from the farm shop @66Mustang we have a few farm shops near me but because I don't drive I never get to go. One does deliver but they dont put prices on the products2

Hi scopicles. I've been quiet the last few days. Been very weepy and upset at lack of life in general.
To cap it off Mr Mary doll family really hurt me. They are selling parental home but it fell through as so much work is needed.
My OH can't help and it was suggested he could open and close up for workers. He can't drive waiting on brain surgery so that means me on top of everything else.
The house is empty and it's a journey to get there and back. Noone helped us and its nothing to do with me. What do I do? 😪1
