Wish we had that rule in our house @Sandy_123! I found £50 the other day tucked down the sofa, but it was apparently a housemate's Christmas present from their nan. So alas, no fun things for me!Rosie (she/her)

Aww shame that @Rosie_Scope but I bet your friend was pleased. I don't like 50 pound notes a lot of shops refuse them. Unless you use a big chain shop. Not that I have a lot of them.

Beaver79 Community member, Community Co-Production Group, Scope Member Posts: 21,306 Disability GamechangerOptionsNo not happy @Sandy_123 I looked online and the Council said due to bad weather no bin collections today. As we are due more snow tonight unlikely to be tomorrow either. Three weeks ago they only emptied one instead of two due to sickness. Not entirely sure what we pay Council Tax for.
-
Oh no, hopefully they'll do a pick up as soon as snow goes, be a bit of a pain if they leave it to next time
-
It's so cold here today and we've had a weather warning about strong gales 'causing a danger to life'.
I'd best leave my kayak in the garage then. -
Yes I think the wind is coming in on the weekend when it warms up @teigr I wouldn't go kayaking lol it might blow you away
-
I don't know about your neck of the woods @Beaver79 but down here we pay council tax so that the idiots in charge can lease Porsches and enjoy endless liquid lunches while they dream up new ways to waste our money.
-
Hi I hope yous are all having a nice night,
I’m just trying to relax just took my meds I’m feeling a bit sore so hopefully they kick in quick. -
I hope they work soon @Lou67
Our bins only get emptied once every two weeks and no extra pick up on xmas -
Our rubbish is taken away every three weeks(unless you live in a flat or in sheltered accommodation),recycling is picked up every week;same as food waste and nappies.
Garden waste is taken away every other week between the end of March and sometime in November, you have to pay extra for that though.
