I called the inquiry line to update an error the assessor made on my medical report. It the. Lead me to finding out my pip was approved last Wednesday and it also happened my back pay went into the bank today 🤣
I didn’t get a call or a text — had no clue so if you hear nothing it might not be taking as long as you think.

— I mailed app in Nov
— Text Nov to say they received it
— Text December that assessor has it
— Text for Assessor Appt On January 2nd
— Text 8th they got my report
— I called on 9th to get my report
— they approved it the 10th without even so much as a call and I got told on the phone today it has been approved over a week and they told me what parts
I got a 4.5 year review time — standard daily and enhanced mobility
— I will now work on compiling more paperwork about my mental health issues

So quick!! I got the text yesterday to say they got the report 10 days after the assessment and saying that I would hear within 8 weeks. I certainly hope the time frame is more like yours.1

They seem to be sending texts pip is approved. However, I didn’t get one and found out by total coincidence because they had some info wrong on my report that I wanted corrected0
