Heya @kid and welcome to the community, how're you today?
Can we get a bit more information about the type of grant you're looking for? Once we have that, I'm sure our regulars will be able to advise.0 -
i want to decorate my flat as ell as furnish it i have no credit and no food no job and no family i have learning difficulties0

Hi @kid, I'm sorry to hear you have no family to help you. We have a lot of information on our site here relating to disability grants. Turn2Us also have a great grant search tool that you might find useful too?
Do you have anyone there who can support you? And friends? Or a social worker? Are you claiming any benefits? I'd suggest looking at this benefits calculator to make sure you're receiving all the support.0 -
i have no friends and yes im on pip universal credit housing benefits0

I don’t know about grants to decorate. There maybe some help available from your local Authority from the Household Support Fund. Although as it’s coming towards the end of the financial year funding maybe limited. More information here https://www.gov.uk/cost-living-help-local-council
You can have a look on their website to see if there’s any help available.

Thank you, his name is Alfie. ☺️ Have you tried facebook in your area? Very often people sell things cheap or even give them away. There’s also gumtree too. Always worth a look.If you have no money for food, are you able to get a referral for a food bank? Some information here https://www.trusselltrust.org/get-help/emergency-food/food-vouchers/0

thanks guys im looking around i still need a social worker im only 27 but its hard for me to apply0

You can't apply for a social worker. What you can do is apply for a care needs assessment from your local Authority. An Occupational Therapist will then contact you to arrange an assessment. From there it will be determined what help/support they maybe able to offer.https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/social-care-and-support-guide/help-from-social-services-and-charities/getting-a-needs-assessment/0

I’m sorry you feel this way as I’ve only tried to help you. I haven’t tagged you. You are likely receiving emails with notifications when someone comments on your thread.I won’t comment further despite trying my best to help up to now.0
