He's disabled too, and has been living with being repeatedly targeted for his faith for over a year. He's planning on moving, but attempted suicide today and while he's doing OK, is scared and confused.

I've just responded on your other thread. I'm so sorry about your friend, & hadn't realised his suicide attempt was just today. Please let him know that I also wish him well, & will hold him in my prayers & thoughts.

Hey @wandering_chris, I just got through to this discussion just now. I'm sorry to hear about your friends struggles. Has he been to the police at all?

It sounds like you're an incredibly supportive friend. While he is apprehensive, they are able to help. The first one may not help but there are other options for anti-depressants.

Let us know if there's anything we can do for you as well, you own mental health is important too.

He has an endless list of police ref numbers, photos of graffiti (Swastikas, David stars, etc), and support letters from Victim Support, GP, synagogue, therapist, and an MH support worker and he's still struggling to move house an get a higher banding, although the lettings policy for where he's moving to says victims of racist abuse should get priority housing.

Update: Last night he was hospitalized after a sort of breakdown and is now taking it easy at home - He's also had to report his 14th incident in 14 months!
