The cheapest 20 are all oil producers - As is UK - But prices are not cheap here - wonder why that is ??

    It's because the vast majority of the price of a litre of petrol is tax. A litre of petrol without tax is about £0.45 or so in the UK.

    Remember when the price of oil dropped to below zero during Covid. Petrol was still 99p a litre despite the raw ingredient being free.

    Agreed too much of the UK price is tax or duty, it's unacceptable, the price also affects the rate of inflation.
