I am trying to build my skills to be able to work from home. I am currently on universal credit limited capability to work. What would happen if i registered as self employed and worked from home and i start to struggle or my health circumstances changed? Would they just put me back on my benefits if i struggled with self employment?

Hiya @amyrochelle and welcome to the community, I hope you're doing great today?

With Universal credit, you can register as self employed and work from home. Any take home earnings are deducted from your UC, so if you become unwell, you'll still have that buffer there.
They may ask you to go in for an assessment to prove you're 'gainfully self employed' which will mean they wont ask you to go in for meetings all the time.
