Being on esa and in a support group , then i had to have assessment in 2020 I was found fit for work and was put in a work related group I went to to the job centre I told the advisor I suffer from anxiety and depression she said I can see your struggling I was told to go to my doctors to get a sick that I'm not fit for work so I'm had to send these to dwp for a while so I didn't have to attend work related interviews at the job centre I was left like this for a few years , and left on the lower rate , I rang them a few times and told them I don't have to attend the work related interviews so I should be in the support group ? I rang again in September 2023 they arranged an assessment by phone and was then put into a support group and was back dated for £611 from September to Jan 19th , This has happened to me before and was backdated for 2 and a half years . Any opinions? regards steve, thanks

It should be paid from the date you rang to report the changes. Did you actually report changes to ESA when you first rang?0
