Pip appointee

Hi.
I need some advice. My son is coming up to 16 in July and I have had a letter about being his appointee. His dla is currently paid into my account as he cannot be responsible to look after it due to his ASD/ ADHD.
So my question is can I still be his appointee if I also claim pip? Will this be a conflict of interests. My husband looks after the both of us. But I receive my pip and my son’s DLA in my bank. Thank you in advance

You claiming PIP yourself doesn't mean you can't be his appointee. No, it is not a conflict of interest at all. I claim PIP myself and I'm also my daughter's appointee for her PIP and UC claims.
