Was the 10th Oct 2023 the date you provided your first fit note? If so then your waiting period will be Nov/Dec, Dec/Jan, Jan/Feb.. LCWRA starts from 5th Feb to 4th March and first payment will be 11th March.Â
No LCWRA element is owed.Â1 -

It was on the 10th oct with no break and don't back payment start from the 14th week and then they hold a month back as he waited 20 weeks just don't understand if his first payment is in march that would be nearly 6 months he waited to get his first lwrca payment thanlst0

It's not the 14th week. For UC the waiting period is 3 full assessment periods. Then the extra money is paid from the 4th month and because UC is paid 1 month in arrears you will receive the first payment at the end of that 4th month.Â
Your assessment periods are 5th to 4th of every month. As you provided your first fit note after the start of your Oct/Nov assessment period then that month doesn't count because it's not a full month.Â
Therefore the months that count are Nov to Feb.. LCWRA starts from assessment period 5th Feb to 4th March and first payment is at the end of that period, which is 11th March. Unfortunately, that's the rules.Â0 -
Thankyou so much clear how you have explained and I understand it now much appreciated 😊1
