I too have just had a text at 17:41 about the pip assessment
I know when I had my last pip assessment was in Dec 2016 because of the Covid my pip was extended until I received a pip form in April 2023 and a text I had this evening i have a question my last assessment came to my home address. Will I be able to have my assessment at my home address as I have multiple sclerosis

They no longer do home assessments and haven't since the pandemic. They are now done either by telephone, video or at an assessment centre.

If the text is telling you that you have a face to face assessment then you can ring the assessment providers and ask for a telephone assessment instead.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

Hi @jscared, welcome to the Scope community :) As Poppy says home assessments are no longer carried out. However, as Poppy also mentioned, you can have a telephone assessment instead. I in fact had one and it really wasn't so bad.

Do let us know if you have any other questions, I'll move this discussion to our PIP category incase you've any further PIP questions :)
They/Them, however they are no wrong pronouns with me so whatever you feel most comfortable with
