Hello
I am in the process of claiming SMI, I'm on Universal credit aged 60 & have a few questions i need answers to. My interest only mortgage ends in April 2025 so do i have to find another mortgage lender who will take on customers with SMI? If so can anyone suggest a mortgage lender who will help me?

Hi @KBL5705
welcome to our online community. I hope you're having a good day today, the weather around mine has been a bit grim.
About your questions, I am not too sure just now about them, it isn't an area of knowledge I know a lot about. We do have a small advice section on mortgages and how to find support about them here: Mortgages and benefits | Disability charity Scope UK
I'll just move this over to our Benefits and Finances category, if someone does have knowledge about this specific subject that's the best place for them to see this0
