Hi, my name is 71jfk! Is this a generic message or does it mean I have been awarded my PIP again?

Hi😊. I have recently sent my review form back for PIP. I called the number today just for an update- a message came through saying I would receive a letter by April telling me what my payment will be. Is this a generic message or does it mean I have been awarded my PIP again? Thanks in advance .

That's probably to do with the annual uprating letters which they are still in the process of sending out. The messages on the helpline are generic and not different for each individual.
There's long delays for a lot of people for PIP reviews and some are still waiting almost a year after returning the form. Your PIP will continue until a decision is made on the review.0 -
Heya @71jfk and welcome to the community. I hope you're doing well today?
I see Poppy has already answered your question, yes, the wait for reviews can take ages unfortunately, but I just wanted to pop in and say hello.0 -
I rang PIP myself this morning and I can confirm 100% that this message is generic and is referring to the annual uprating letter.
