Hey there @hi1983 and welcome to the community. How're you today?
I'm not 100% on my UC knowledge I'm afraid, but I'm sure one of our regulars will be along shortly to give you an answer. Can I just ask, were there any gaps in your fit notes?0 -
Assuming you provided fit notes without any gaps until a decision was made on your WCA your waiting period will be..
Aug to Nov... LCWRA starts from assessment period 15th Nov to 14th Dec and first payment will be 21st Dec.
Money owed will be paid separately to your usual monthly money and often takes quite a few weeks to pay it. If the decision has only just been made there may not be enough of time to include the element in your statement this month but you will need to check it when you receive it.
Please note, my advice assumes you're not claiming UC with a partner that already receives the LCWRA element on your claim.0 -
Ok thanks very much for the info0

Hi, I'm currently in the process of showing the job centre people my August 2023 fit note as I didnt report it properly in the journal but did show the work coach in August 21st appointment but did write a message to him in the journal on 18th Aug that I will show him the first fit note which I did as I was new to the uc system at the time and pressed fit note cancelled in the journal . I had a message today in the journal to call uc which I did to get evidence appointment then they will do a mandatory reconsideration to decide when the lcwra payments will start from the case worker goes 3 months from 15.11.23 but im disputing it should start from 3 months from 15.08.23. My mentel health is affected by all this. Any replies will help.0

You will need to wait for a decision maker to make the final decision.0
