Hi I've been awarded pip and im due a back payment I also owe uc money which I'm paying back via an agreement but will they take my back payment off me to pay uc ?? I'd be so disappointed as I really needed that money .0

They can take the money you owe them from the money they owe you.0

OK thanks for reply so disappointed I no I owe them money and need to pay it back but was relying on that money for something else never mund0

I do have a payment plan in place would this change it so they don't take it all??0

Hello @nancey246. They don't always take backdated money but they can. Have they told you they're sending it to debt management?
Some people have success contacting debt management and explaining their circumstances, so they reject the money and you continue paying back at the agreed on plan.0
