Energy Ombudsman

So I've been fighting e.on next for a while, took it the ombudsman at Christmas and won, thought things had settled down again and it didn't so had to repeat the process.
I have today found out that I have won! in a really big way too.
E.on next tried to bully me into tripling my direct debits etc and tried to force meters onto me. Ombudsman have found this to be wrong and inappropriate and have said that they have to reverse it all and put me back on the original tariffs.
Ombudsman also decided that they had discriminated against my medical conditions and have said they need to apologise and pay a gesture of goodwill (appreciated but it wasn't about gaining extra)
Honestly, if you are ever in doubt and your energy company try to take you for a ride or are discriminating against you please please take it to the energy ombudsman, they're are fab and really helpful.

Great news @trashpanda and it's so nice of you to update us and give hope to anyone else thinking of going to the Ombudsman.1

@Adrian_Scope
both times I have used them they have been really helpful and definitely took the pressure of me with having to deal with it. its also a super simple process which I was nervous it would be complex and time consuming causing anxiety and stress which it didn't.1 -
That's really good to know @trashpanda, I haven't personally used the ombudsman and it's reassuring to hear that it isn't as complex or time consuming as people might think.1
