UC carer element and disability element

Hi I was recently awards dla for my son, I am uc and am working. I have been awarded disability element on my uc and now Applied for carers element, would this payment go towards my deduction of earnings if eligible ? I am not claiming carers allowance

Hello @liljj_783. DLA isn't deducted from UC and neither are any of the other elements you've mentioned.
If you're awared carer element, it should add £185.86 a month to your UC award.0
