Hi everyone I’m new here and just wondered if anyone could help me I had my assessment today for lwc and the assessor only spoke of one of my conditions CFS at the end I wanted to tell her about the rest of my conditions and she said to be honest with you I don’t think you have anything to worry about and you should not be asked to look for work but it is up to the decision maker but personally I think you will be found not fit to work. Is this how it’s supposed to be for them to tell me this or not I have had multiple pip assessments and never been told anything about how it went. Any advice would be appreciated thanks

Welcome to the community @faifai2915!
I think it varies quite a lot with each assessor. I haven't heard many stories of them giving an idea of the outcome, but that doesn't mean they don't happen. Fingers crossed you get the result you're hoping for1 -
Yes that’s exactly what I thought I was nervous about it and still am don’t want to raise my hopes then get refused I currently get higher rate pip but have recently been moved to UC so new to this will keep you updated on outcome thank you0

No, it's not what's supposed to happen. It's the their job to tell you anything at all. They do not make decisions, only a decision maker can do that. Once the report is written and returned a decision can take anything up to about 12 weeks.
With regards to only talking about 1 condition then yes, that does happen because if they have enough of information for your other conditions they won't ask any further questions related to it.0 -
Thanks for the information am I able to ask for a report like you can with pip or not0

If it's UC you're claiming and you have access to a journal then you can put a message on there to ask but they don't always agree to send it before a decision is made.0
