Asking on behalf of a friend who is not up to tech…
He currently receives ‘Adult Disability Payment under special rule’s’ consisting of higher rate DLA and higher rate mobility.

He currently receives ‘Adult Disability Payment under special rule’s’ consisting of higher rate DLA and higher rate mobility.
In receipt of state pension (90%) and receives pension credits.
Age 66.
Would he be entitled to make a claim for attendance allowance?

A claim for AA would stop the ADP award and there’s no mobility part to AA. For this reason he should not start a claim for AA because you can’t receive both at the same time.0
