Initial phone call

Hi I applied for CB ESA on the 1st of May and received the text saying they would contact me within 14 days. I haven't heard anything yet and wondered do they let you know when they are going to to call?
I have already had an assessment for UC and have LCWRA so I know I don't have to go through that again. My latest fit note runs out on the 1st of June which I had to get for my last SSP as I have been dismissed from work. I really can't face having to ask for another one especially as I don't need to now.
I'm holding off doing things especially phone calls that are important as it will be sods law they phone when I can't take it.
