LCWRA backpay?

My daughter started on UC last april 23 and after the health assessment was deemed LCW and received £295 per month from July and she was submitting fit notes every 8 weeks. Her health has since deteriorated and she was given further diagnosis’s which she reported on a fit note Nov 23 and was told to fill in a UC50 which was returned Dec 23. She was told she didnt need to submit anymore fit notes whilst she awaited a further assessment. This was carried out 13 May and she was deemed LCWRA, but was told she would not receive any back pay for LCWRA and her date of reporting not being able to do any work related activity was 13 May 24, does this sound correct please, as we thought it would be from Nov 23. Also when would she receive the extra amount?
thanks in advance

As she reported changes to her health condition which prompted them to refer her for another WCA then the extra money should be from the assessment period in which she reported the changes. However, she should have continued to provide fit notes until a new decision was made. Who advised her she didn't need to provide any further fit notes?

I'm also confused about her starting her claim in April 2023 and didn't receive any money until July 2023. Was there any reason why? did she or a partner receive earnings which reduced her UC to zero?

Thank you for your reply. It was her work coach that told her she didnt need to send anymore fit notes whilst awaiting a further assessment.

She lives at home with me and is 20 years old and doesnt have a partner.

If she has proof that she was advised that then she should definitely point this out because they may say that because her fit notes weren't continuous they may go from the assessment period in which the decision was made.

One thing I should point out, when going from LCW to LCWRA they very often make an error in when the extra money is paid from. They may tell her that there's a waiting period of 3 full assessment periods but that is incorrect because the waiting period doesn't apply in her case.

Money owed is paid separately to her usual monthly money and often takes quite a few weeks to pay it.

It is written on her journal advising that she does not have to provide further fit notes so hopefully that will be proof if she needs it.

thanks so much for your help, she is very stressed about it.
