I am serious confused about lcwra , I have been told I don't get back pay for the first 3 months is that correct

Yes that's correct. It's because there's a full 3 month assessment period waiting time. The extra money is then paid from the 4th month after you provided your first fit note. First payment is then made at the end of that 4th month. It's not paid at all during the waiting period.
